Fashionova: 15th May’2008
Fashionova is an annual event that showcases’ the design collections of the graduating students of the graduating students of the Fashion design department. Highly popular and most sought after, this professionally organized show catapults the young designers into the fashion arena. An added dimension to its uniqueness is the diversity of the participants, thus providing a wide array of design interpretations. Major corporate sponsors like General Motors, Uniliver, Damas, ETA –star properties, Nayomi, Citibank etc have extended significant support in sponsoring this annual event.

Swarovski” Young designer of the year” : 26th April’2008
Swarovski” Young designer of the year” is an ever exiting student’s competition that happens every year during the “Bride show” in Dubai UAE. The competition is an ideal platform for young talented students and amateurs of fashion to showcase their creations in front of the most dignified fashion personalities and fashion loving audience. Sponsored by “Swarovski” Middle East the competition is a much awaited fashion event every year. MAHE Manipal Dubai campus has been the proud winner of the coveted award for three consecutive years.

Creations by Burjuman: 19th Jan’2008
‘Creations’ is a premier fashion event in the Dubai Fashion Calendar. Organized as a part of the Dubai Shopping Festival and hosted by Burjman shopping mall, this event has been an excellent platform for the aspiring young designers of the region. MAHE Manipal Dubai campus has been a regular participant in this event every year and the students have won accolades for their magnificent performance repeatedly.

Dubai International fashion Week:
Dubai Fashion Week is a mega sponsored event that holds a fleet of fashion shows showcasing the best of design collections created by world renowned designers. The event is also highlighted by some famous models from all over the globe.DIFW is a serious trade affair which provides an ideal opportunity and a global platform for all the designers and buyers to meet and discuss their future trade relations and commitments. DIFW is well recorded and publicized by the local and international media and is an eternal experience for everyone associated with it. Participation of MAHE in the DIFW every year is an enriching experience for the university as well as all the student designers, whose creativity is well appreciated everywhere.

Colors:
‘Colors’ is an intercollegiate cultural festival of UAE, where students of MAHE Manipal Dubai campus have been winning award year after year for their excellent performances. The showstopper is the Design competition where students sashay down the ramp in the creations of fellow students. In this competition, the students of the Fashion design department of the institute have bagged many awards for their innovative designs and spectacular presentations.

Springfiesta:
Springfiesta is an intercollegiate competition where the students of MAHE, participate showcasing their talents and enjoying every bit of it. This event has won laurels for us . Our students have participated in all the categories and won most of them. It is an event that they look forward to, year after year.

Stagestruck:
Stagestruck is an annual event presented by the Rangmanch Theatre Academy. It provides a great platform for bringing out the inherent talents for all young theatre enthusiasts in the UAE. Students of MAHE compete in this event year after year, winning quite some awards!
